My colored pencil set that had been backordered came in the mail today. Prismacolor Verithin, these are thin hard which sharpen to a point, supposed to be good for clearing up edges. Already had Prismacolor brand of rich color thick soft core permanent color pencils.
Found in the catalog the info on the colored graphite, it was on the watercolor pencil page. I think the name was Graphitint, anyway said the pencil has the properties of a graphite pencil with a hint of color, but also is supposed to be workable wet. Apparently an innovative idea to go with watercolor artwork.
I don't know if you heard of this one yet, Inktense pencils these were on the watercolor pencil page also. Strong, intense color which can be compared with pen and ink used dry or washed out with water, but then if wet dries permanent and workable, that is other media can be used over it when washed.
Art materials aren't getting any cheaper, reason for planning ahead and taking advantage of sale catalogs, then combining orders to total the amount needed for free shipping. By now have shaved off a huge chunk of the expenses. All catalogs come from the same company, one I can trust and has proved to be reliable, they also supply to schools with a separate thick catalog for the classroom. Many of these classpack deals meant for bulk classroom supply, end up in the sale catalogs also.
