I thought a few of the forum members might like to see a pen and ink artwork i'm doing of a wedgetail eagle. It's roughly 400mm square in size and has taken about 15-20 hours to get to this stage. There's probably the same or a bit more time still to go i reckon before it's completed.

I thought it might be fun to add progressive pics as i work on it so those interested could see how i work an image to completion. hope you enjoy it.

That,s 20 25 hours in :| nar maybe more lost track .
Nice, i'd like to do wood carving but don't have the free time unfortunately.
I've been playing around with carving deer antlers but i need a Dremel with fine attachments to speed it up i reckon. How do you find it for working on fine work? Does it get overheated if it's going for too long?

I normally have had enough by then but no not really I have the 3 foot flexible attachment it does not over heat
it get,s warm but its doing 20,000_30,000 RPM but is bearably .
I have not done any thing on it for a while now . I had both wrists operated on in dec 2014
Have a bit of trouble gripping for long periods fast moving power tools . They are very unforgiving .
But you have inspired me again . ;)

Tackle something a little smaller to start with dam it to see how your wrists hold up. They're pretty expensive the Dremels aren't they? Are they noisy to use?
