Here's my home security lol I have found beer bottles and rubbish on my side of the fence bordering state forest in a sapphire area, my property has a creek and dams which I'm sure have been used without my knowledge. Luckily there's no recent diggings nearby. A knock on my door would be appreciated, and I'd probably ask to join with a beer if ok. Not saying you're in the wrong mate, just landholder point of view.

Dunno wtf the mods are doing here...serious topic that affect the future of our hobby and it has turned into comedy central.

Not that impressed really

c'mon horse, a little bit of humour within reason is ok and it sure beats getting worked up to the point of things getting out of control.

Yeah I 'spose...fair enough.

Nothing out of control here...the landholders can complain all they like...I know where I can fossick...and they can not stop me.
Muhahahahaha
I have located many more spots in the past day to explore.
Purchased my State Forest permit as well...the world is our oyster :)

hey mate this is a friendly discussion isn't it? bit of fun bit of help bit of facts.

Horse I'm sorry for posting my dog, no offense meant I was just going along with a joke.
I would say in your situation the cocky has had to deal with alot of ******s if it's a known area, that's why he approached aggressive and then warmed up a bit. a few asshats ruin it for everyone that's responsible and well prepared. With my land where I have seen signs of trespassers is where I regularly hunt and Clay shoot, I always check to see where everyone is before going out, but still no matter how responsible I am, if someone is there without me knowing, it could ruin both our lives. Again, you're in the right and did your research, but you would be 1 in 100.

Cool man, sounds like you've got access to some good spots, hope they work out well for you

Sorry horse, I just got a bit caught up in the moment and tried to take it to the next level with those pickys(I thought we were taking the pee out of grumpy landowners a bit),..those last two girls would be a bit of a scare if you come across them down the creek(wouldn't know whether to watch or run)haha.
I do think though that if you are in the right and allowed by law to do what you'd like to be doing then by all means do so,...just try to do it the best way you can leaving the least amount of cranky landowners, that way, hopefully, there wont be some cranky old badger nagging in the ears of some relly of a polititian with some trumped up story(real lies) that ends up in some elected clown righting wrongs that don't exist and writing new rules into the books that end up not being very well thought out in our favour. Any way I think I'd rather just throw in a few photos rather than my two cents worth(it's much funnier).

I agree, this topic has taken on a disturbing "REDNECK" tone...... unlike the USA, guns do not rule here - and should not!

Cut with the firearm pics diggers.....

casper

Cmon casper it wasn't that long ago that they took all the guns away,...and these depictions just denote how infuriated landholders can get,..I see nothing wrong with any of those photos at all(have a look at the bigger picture and put on your funny face) and we can all have a laugh together,.....this one has just about run it's course.

Firearms are a valuable tool on rural property, but also a great hobby. That doesn't make me a "REDNECK"
