Gutters? Cast iron? I found these when I was digging up an old galvanised water pipe that was under the driveway. they were laid upside down over the water pipe probably to protect it from heavy traffic. I've never heard of metal gutters before, but, they certainly are the same shape as gutters, with a lip on each one with rusted nuts and bolts in them. The house was built about 1880+-. So maybe they were used before the thin, tin type that's used now. Does any one out there know any thing about these items? wiley.View attachment 9152
