That storm didn't do much Jaros, barely enough to wet the path, but I am grateful for small mercies.
Temp has dropped a bit its now 27.3C.
Enjoy the snow fellas and I must ring the brother in law at Bungendore and stir him up.
Cheers
Mackka

I wish people wouldn't conflate global warming and climate change.
locally your climate can change, while the globe in general warms.
Warm air, more evaporation.. wetter weather.

Maybe tell that to the worlds politicians that started the global warming BS and changed it to climate change to suit their agenda , but anyway if they have you fooled mate thats cool

Had to do a runner from Ophir thismorning as the weather turned and funny white stuff came out of the sky.

Stopped to take a snap of the wildlife on the way home. ;)

As treacherous as snow and ice is ,Even though ive experienced it many times i still feel like a little kid seeing it for the first time . Yeah it can ruin my prospecting weekend but I still love it :)

Just back from Gladstone, it was 26 plus all week but getting there we encountered a 2 degree night in Qld. Got a new sleeping bag in Hervey Bay and saw 0 overnight somewhere near Monto

Lets not mention concensus amongst 99% of scientists. Pfft. What did science ever figure out.

Gold and good trout fishing ozziii. Corryong often has the hottest and coldest days in the state, but the fishing is also fantastic there. The weather people were saying it's been the coldest winter in something like 20 years!!! But i agree, the weather here in Ballarat is bitter this year. I like the summers here for the very reason they're not super hot. But this is getting crazy!!

Yep I was just looking the other day about the old gold mining area's up there, been past a few of the old area's when I lived there a couple yrs back but didn't realise there was as much as there is, I wouldn't mind getting back up there for a little detecting & maybe some panning, never really done much fishing up there though, mainly hunting.
While winters did get a few very cold days & nights, down to -7, -8 a few times, it never really lasted to long & the wind wasn't as bad as it is here down south. The hot weather did get pretty hot but I didn't really mind after spending a fair few yrs up in Mildura, few times it got over 45c up there & up to 47c once, that was hot, one bloke even fried eggs on the footpath, haha.

Great fishing in the Thowgla, Nariel, Upper Murray, Gibbo to name just a few. Yeah, great hunting as well as long as you ignore the wild dogs that are about in greater numbers than ever. Not sure about detecting up that way, only got into detecting since moving here. It's a great little country town Corryong i reckon.

Imho denying climate change is similar to denying the aerosols and ozone link.its proven we can make substantial atmospheric changes.
The first link between co2 and warming was made in 1896. I think it's safe to assume the research back then was not considered in a monatised framework and was impartial.
