Hi everyone
been into metal detecting for a little while but never really that serious untill i started to find some fun little bits and pieces on the beach and reading others stories now looking to upgrade detector and have a proper play, been reading lots on here and now very keen on giving panning/sluicing a go as its another way to enjoy our beautiful bush land and country, look forward to chatting and learning from all here

I started off the opposite to you as I first started panning which pushed an interest in detecting, now I'm happy as a pig in mud doing either :lol:

thanks guys, i have been reading on here for a little bit now and have found so many hints and tips already, so i thought i should pull my finger out and register and become more active here, loving the forum and the many great people on here, i am sure i will have many questions to come
