Stress levels are up. I'm hanging for a swing and a scratch something bad again. Bloody bills keep showing up in the mail box and xmas looms large upon us. Yet, I still hold out hope of getting back amongst it before my bells get jingled. House inspection on the 9th, so the carpets need cleaning, maybe after that I can do a trip for a few days. That should give me a couple of pays before xmas. I better buy mrs Chewy something for chrissy or I might not be to popular. Lol

I know your into gold chewy but try your local park, you maybe surprise how good it can be. I am sure Mrs Chewy would like a nice gold ring at no cost to you. You never know you maybe lucky.

Cheers, DD

Xmas is creeping up faster and having to buy toys and prepare and ..nnneergghh xmas dinner with family..

Its why I keep at least one detector, a pan and shovel in my car everywhere I go. If the missus is taking a while, ill go dig something close by in that spare time. There's always something. Even if its trash I find it fun still because you never know when 'that' item will pop up

Been thinking of ditching Christmas this year and going bush. Missus is actually in agreeance (wow) didn't expect that but not sure about the offspring , no power for there life support systems.
I like that idea Bjay, might be next years plan. Found out a few weeks back we actually have access to a camp trailer. Not sure of the set up as I haven't seen it yet, but sounds good for a bit of family camping out bush. I went to kindy with the littlies yesterday, and found they now have a little man made creek with pebbles etc. Told mrs Chewy I might pop home and grab the hibanker. Lol. :)

Poor mans presents gotten me by most times Chewy,... especialy in tight times. :D ;)

Yeah Santa is gunna be a bit stingy this year I'm afraid. Luckily he has lay by that's almost paid off so chrissy will go ahead as planned, just a little scaled back. I can see I'm going to have to take up basket weaving for awhile though to ease the gold withdrawals as 15 yo Rachel is meant to be going to Japan on exchange next year for a cpl of weeks. Thats 2k to pull out of my bum somehow. Not sure how, but we'll make it happen somehow.

I went cap in hand once, and put it to the neighborhood for a worthy excursion for the young fella,... and had $800 towards the total within 2-3 weeks of afternoons(took him with me to do the talking),... that was with locals helping a local though,... you could run a raffle and sell tickets at the local bottlo in the afternoons even, everyone wants to win a bottle of grog for a dollar or two. :D

I'm a lucky bloke. Mrs Chewy is a financial freak of nature and a budget magician. I think she has a plan. :)
Be careful, Chew, her plan may be to dump the dead would and get rid of her 'prospecting' partner

I'm worried it might entail me standing on the corner wearing high heels or something. ;)
No offense Chew, but if that's her plan for you then she may need to have a re think. To be quite honest mate, i can't see that little idea getting much more than spare change, and even that is probably being over optimistic

That's true Steelpat, they do have a different view of the world over that way. :)
