Hey guys, just recently returned from a trip to Peru. Impulsively I purchased a few items from a rock/ gem/ mineral store in Lima, Peru and was just wondering if I could use someone's expertise on providing a potential value for what I purchased. I've tried to do my own research and finding a wide of range of prices. I was advised the item is considered reasonably rare with a find coming out of a mine in Peru a few years back. I really don't know if i've paid too much, really have no interest in rocks and would be willing to sell if anyone might be interested.

Hey grubstake,
Went and bought a uv torch yesterday and shined it on the fluorite but it didn't glow. What does that mean? do I have a fake?
Not necessarily a fake, but as the intro says to the post I linked above:
LONEWOLF:
Here is a list of Fluorescent Minerals from around the World...
Remember NOT ALL will show their True Colours...
Meaning, You can have 3 samples of the same Mineral, from the same Location and only 1 sample will Fluorescent.... or None at all will Fluorescent...
