Just had the phone call asking for my deposit, the official price they were not allowed to say but when pushed they did confirm that it is a bit above $10.5k

full details and specifications are released 9am on the 18th. The first round will be available to those who paid a deposit and those who did not they are plenty of detectors available which they will release after another week.

sooooo exciting

You have time to make babies? Gold does not find itself G0lddigg@ Now back on the detector Son!!!

Good luck mate, hope all goes smooth for you both.

P.S. A GPZ7000 would have been a cheaper option in the long run!

Going by price alone is it really going to be
Twice as good as a 4500 or 5000?

Besides the depth it must have some screen
Advantages surely besides increased depth.

Of course the GPS mapping software and waterproof capability plus compact design. Then there's the new coil type not a dd not a mono a new type of coil super d. The timings are supposed to be much more simple than the gpx which has 100. This will have 5 im told. All speculation and probing minelab dealers to get info so far. Im sold

You know whats funny when i was in new farm during the holidays there were two blokes wearing minelab caps detecting in tye park near the Brisbane river. I said hello and asled if they were 3030s they looked at each other and said yes and moved on real quickly. Later i saw a picture of one of these blokes on the web and he workes for minelab. Wonder if they were testing the 7000 and i missed out on a glimpse...
