Morning all, 5.45 am. in Avoca.... packing up to head back home after a great PA meetup.

Well, good evening from home base.... I made it through that rain event that hit Melbourne today, Ive got to say that was the heaviest rain I have experienced on the road. It certainly washed the dust off.
Glad I decided to pack the tent up yesterday. :cloudy: :cloudy: oop:

Good night all. Hope all you folk had a wonderful day. Better turn on the TV and find out who won the race. Its the first time I havent watched it in 30 years. Funny that. When you retire you seem to be soooooo busy. Its 24 degrees at the moment. Waiting for that rain to come through. Hope the Vic. mob didnt steal it all. The veggies patch and the lawns could do with a bit of a soaking. Hope the farmers get a reasonable drop.

Welcome back Ozzie. Didn't it piss down before the Cup.--I did some betting earlier in the races and finished just under $200 in front. I lost my Sportsbet connection 45 min's before the race and that was it. My Cup bet came 5th --Lucky me!!

Welcome to another top day Mackka. Just checked to see whats going to happen weather wise up in your neck of the woods. Maybe later next week. Crossing fingers for central Qld. I heard a brief shower come through at about 4am. Was really surprised when I checked the gauge a couple of minutes ago. 9 mil..... Ahhhhhhh rain on a tin roof always puts me to sleep. Must have lost a bit of the fine detail. I think todays going to be a shed day. A bit cranky with a post that Tathradj put up recently. He posted a video clip of a rocket stove. Never seen one before. Talk about a setup. He put up the clip and just left us all hanging. To me it was a bit like a red rag to a bull. Gotta make me self one a them I thought. So good onya Doug. Lol. More work to do. Better get started instead of moaning about it. Have a good one all.
