I bought a tumbler....just a cheap one but I love it and it does a good job...

I do 30 minute washes and each 10 minutes clean water....does the trick...Didn't take long at all.. :Y:

Got it off ebay mate....Free Postage and it arrived in 5 days....Good Service and a Good tumbler...

Been a few weeks since I've posted anything....
Went out for two hours to the park around the corner, I hit on some brownies first up which was okay, I didn't mind that because it lead me on a little trail to a spot I hadn't tried. Hit on a nice 40 signal only 4 inches deep and out popped a Half Penny, only a foot away another 40 signal 4 inches deep again and when it came out I thought oh this is a penny because of it's size, I couldn't really make out what it was because it was dirty as hell... I gave it a little rub and saw the word Florin woop woop SILVER the good kind.
It was an interesting night, one of the spots I was digging was promising showing up more pennies and then another Florin, I also got the worst conditioned Threepence I have ever found but it's still silver....
I've been testing out the new coil which I took off tonight as I wanted a good dig.....I'll test out the new coil another night around the corner.

YAHOO a 52 and a 54..

Cleaned all of the 1c, 2c coins.

Also did a few pennies in the tumbler then I polished them with Autosol....They came out looking good....

Salt and Vinegar soak then Baking Soda rub....Repeat if they are stubborn. :Y:

A bit weary of it being a 18.75khz, it pick up all of the trash as well...Oh well only way to learn it is to do it.
