Interesting you say that, my detecting mate Yulia said she knew I'm going to find a Sovereign... I took that message as a sign that the sovereigns will be surfacing soon.
2 days of wind should have moved some sand around so I'll be out tomorrow for a look. :Y:

Got out today for a low tide swing and didn't feel the earthquake but I did manage to find a small patch of coins 5c 10c then a bucket lister jumped into my scoop which was a nice surprise. The tid was suggesting to me that another 10c was going to show up. 9ct Gold Signet Black onyx...
The beach is releasing the old gold and if there are any Sovereigns around I hope I'm there to find them first.

I may get out tomorrow for a look weather and wind permitting.

I know I haven't posted for a while, maybe because I hadn't been able to detect, weather and homelife got real busy and now that we're out of hopefully the last lockdown I can get out more.

Got out last night, nice and calm with no waves and after 2 hours of literally nothing but a few pieces of scrap I hit on the first of several good targets which was in a 30min window before the tide came back in.
Found 3 holes so I worked them and came up with a bucket lister gold version this time... 18ct Buckle Ring and absolute beauty with IN - 18 hallmarks, this was the last target as I had to get home because it was 1:30am ?

It was cold last week but with the warmer weather the temperature last night was warm, I could have worn my half wetsuit.
