Golddiggerart - Detector finds...

Got out last night for a swing and dug deep deep targets well over 40cm deep.. First target was 50c then I had to wait a good 30mins to find a patch of deep coins, 1c 2c then little baby Silver Signet ring which was just big enough to not fall through the holes in the scoop.
Coins were all in a 5x5 metre patch... The watch may be gold but that is to be confirmed, that also came from the patch. The 9ct gold ring was over a foot deep in waist high water.
Twas a nice night to be out with the moon beam lighting the way. ?
I may get out tonight for one more 2020 detect but that depends on the weather which is supposed to be wet and stormy for the next 3 or 4 days.

Officially my last detect of 2020 which saw hundreds of people lined along the beach waiting for the New Year countdown.
I had my waterproof earphones so it didn't bother me at all, I just detected away finding small patches of coins that have recently surfaced.
Undoubtedly the best Commonwealth Penny condition wise I've pulled out of this beach and I've had quite a few good ones but this is immaculate.
The gemstone pendent is an interesting one, very cold to the touch and surprising colour once it has a backing light shining through it, no idea what it is but a cool find indeed.

The final picture is a gold thrill that had me excited when I saw the gemstones, but a soak in vinegar reveals junk base metal.. The stones are pretty so I'll save them.

Great little hunt gda, that penny musta had some anaerobic uderwater conditions to come out like that. Check those 20c for a wavy 2 base as well... never know what you'll find and a couple of them I can't quite see from here :Y:

Best time to hunt mate , is when a storm rolls in during the arvo evening .

I never think to check the coins, definitely Indian..

2021 started off with much of the same, Coins, ring, jewellery and so maybe I'll do a few relic hunts to mix it up a bit while the sands move around at the beach.

Decided to take a stroll and dig shallow, solid targets. Well I didn't really expect much but the nox had other ideas. Seeing the glint of gold in the pile of sand and gravels puts a smile on my dial... 2021 is well and truly showing its golden 18k colour.
The only thing that brought me home earlier than I would have liked was my 8 year old son. I knew better but never, ever again will he be coming on a night time detect.
