I love introducing prospecting to my kids. They think its pretty cool too but my young fella reckons finding rocks are way cooler. This day we managed to find plenty of colour in the creek at sovereign hill, even though it was put there, and I even got to show a few tourists how to pan and find their own yella!

hey mate only just noticed this comment sorry, probably a bit hard to commit to days mate as i dont know exactly what i'll be doing, what days i'll get there etc. right now the bruce hwy is closed up here and who knows what could happen on the way. best to keep an eye on the facebook page and i'll keep everyone in the loop of where i am as i travel and if anyone can get down to say hello and have a yarn well do it.

Spot on Rusty, that was a magic weekend, hopefully the upcoming Meet-up will replicate some of that magic.
Not sure, I'm lousy with names and faces, but think the "watcher" may be Ron, think he had a crook back (?? or something) but didn't stop him being there and enjoying the company.
