COIN of the Season competition.
Spring (October, November, December).

Please read the rules carefully before entering.
All Australian members having reached 10 "legitimate" posts on the forum are eligible to enter.
Hopefully we will have a prize for the COIN of the year.

Post your COIN of the season entries for Spring (October, November, December) 2022 below this post after 7am AEST on the 1st October 2022 up to Midnight on the 31st December 2022.

General Overview of Competition Terms and Conditions

COIN OF THE SEASON RULES: Please read.

- The Coin entered must be found after joining the forum.

- The Coin must be found in Australia.

- The coin entered must have been detected and recovered legally by the member entering it.

- The Coin submitted must be found in the months the competition is active. (Coins found on the last day of the last month can be entered in the following season's comp)

- The post must have a picture of the coin and the DATE item found.

- The coin entered must be clearly identified (If the date is too worn as long as it can be identified in a date range).

- You must have also posted a picture of the coin in the appropriate section to be eligible to enter a monthly award. (Members finds or wherever you normally post you finds)

- The entered Coin must be the only coin in the picture.

- Maximum of 6 entries per member.

- All Australian members having reached 10 "legitimate" posts on the forum can enter including the Mods. I will not enter as I will be running the comps.

- Tokens and coin rings are not coins and must be entered in the Find of the Season competition.

- Coin of the Season will be decided by member votes using an online polling system.
Voting will run for 2 weeks.

Please refrain from commenting on every find as this will just make it difficult to keep track of the entries.

Prospecting Australia, and the Moderating Team, declare no affiliation, sponsorship, nor any partnership with the manufacturer or supplier of the brass coin probe. It was purchased by a member/s of the Moderating Team independently.

- The prize awarded to the eligible winner is not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the competition end date unless otherwise stated in the competition rules. If a winner cannot be contacted within 30 days or is disqualified for any reason, the Moderating Team reserves the right to not award that prize. By entering the competition you will be taken to accept this (and any other terms and conditions of the competition).
