first old coin found last friday

hi guys
heres a pic of my old coin a three pence I found down on the river bank, at a spot were the schools use to hold swimming races before there was a pool here, the local council had covered most of the place with paths so I guess was lucky to find it , also found a old bullet, someone told me they think its a old 303 one ?

Good stuff.. I do not know about detectors... but... There are a lot of places well worth a look.. old vacant sites from buildings, pubs, railway sites ect.... Talk to your local elders and they may remember where the local old building sites are...

Yep, looks like a 303 to me ...... nice little old coin, first of many I'm sure!
