Had a little venture at the park across the road for an hour. Pulled loads of cans

Then a couple of brass rings and a miniture cow bell

so set disc to just coins and got $2.15

Rolling in the dosh tonight. Might go find a silver dollar tomorrow!!!

Only a fairly new park. Was built last year so not much cept recent stuff. Was not allowed out last night so had to go for a walk in the park ....

Had a bit of a grid workout tonight. Only allowed 40mins before the better half signalled the end.

Got around 50sq mtr pegged out as I knew I would be yelled at if I took longer that an hour........

Found a brass??? Ball and a Nike stud...

Then the bell tones went crazy and thought I had a spill. A 5 inch plug later and I pulled this out...

A star sign amulet. 5g, 999 Fine Silver!!!

And then the moolas...

I almost have $10 in 1c & 2c pieces.

Going back with a mate tomorrow as it is a huge oval and there should be huge amounts of goldies to dig if searched properly.

Couldn't do any better than finding a chunk of near pure silver (other than gold), great find! The lower frequency detectors tend to hit well on silver - and copper coins.

Hi all, hope you have all finished work and are preparing for those Christmas crowds!!!

Went out to the local Softball oval last night and just randomly swung around. Got a fair amount of trash while on Jewellry mode...

Switched over to coin mode and only ran the 4 bars on the right and got a few coins next to the car park...

Also found two badges, one from Western Canberra Football Club and the other no idea??? Help?

Then while walking back to the car dug a brass/copper bracelet around 8inches deep...

Had fun and will. E going back for another look tomorrow!

Money, badges(nice enamel) and jewellery,...that's almost a full house, all you needed was a bit of militaria to top that one off Mike.
Do a little grid tomorrow and see how that goes for you,...it puts you into a few zones that you (and everyone else) miss if you just hit randomly.

I had a very good friend inform me of an old 20's racecourse nearby so went to check it out with my Dad who is down for Chrissy.
