Yeah it must be easy 50 acres, has taken a whole year to cover most of it. Probably still another years worth there if I slow right down and use my other coil too.

yeah I found this one at 1218 18k so I tend to dig up all pull tab numbers .

this one fluctuated all over the place . Silver usually is a constant number but gold rings a totally diff story .

Nice rings mate, that second one would have flutuated due to being 2 rings in one. Way too many pulltabs in the ground at my spot to even think about digging 5% of them unfortunately... It would destroy the sportsfields and create a mess. I know I'm missing gold but hey I''m finding plenty of other stuff.

The ring I scored the other day is gold ring 4 from this site.

Yeah it's a hard choice to dig or walk away heatho , I found a park of a fair size but way too trashy so I'm in between using the 17x13 or using the 10 x 5 coil, think I might stick to the larger :)

I love the 10x5 in the trashy spots, you can really pick out good targets among the junk very well, you get heaps better target separation, excellent for pinpointing among the trash as well.

It least we know the detector works! Looking forward in seeing more ... As the Sovereign is a tone detector once I hear that sound you are tuned to it for a while and they suddenly appear!

It works pretty good, that's the 4th gold ring with it but yeah it was a while between drinks. It picks up the most recent one from about a foot or more in an air test. The previous gold ring was well over 20cm down, probably one of the deepest rings I've found and it was a solid stable signal too.

Couple of hours down the HH this morning, got a nice little silver ring with a small moonstone or opal of some type in it, there is no colour play in the stone at all.

Decided to show how many BB's I get in the average session too from this spot, thast's why I discrim a lot of them and don't bother digging all of them, I dig quite a few each session but not all when I 100% know it's a BB. When the oval was waterlogged a while back I was having trouble discriming them, now the water content is back to normal I can reliably ditch them, I called every one of these as a BB this morning, so I'm 99% sure I'mn really not missing any silver except maybe the odd pre 1946 thrippy.

No silver coins today which is rare for this spot.

A fair ratio Heatho, ring looks good too . :D

This oval is absolutely saturated in BB's Silver, Wally69 has hunted here with me before and commented on the amount of BB's, can remember him saying something along the lines of "FFS not another one". :D

Ha, he's a real Wally hey ,... I'd be the same Heatho, if it weren't for having RKTs Goblin onside, no more bb's for this little black duck (ha). :D
