Continued on from yesterday, almost a carbon copy hunt, 1 florrie, 2 sixpence and a 1921 thrippy.

great hunt, the 6p looks to be rotting, and you saved the florin just before it did.

Yeah they aren't in the best condition at all, that's the black organic acidic soil nailing them. It's on a bit of a flood plain.

How's that for Mr consistency, I'd like to see you repeat the same for a third time (will probably eat my words). At least we now know where most of Australia's missing currency ended up - on your sporting fields.

I'll try my best mate, you can just never sure and when you're hot you're hot.

A lot of currency there hey, often makes me wonder how much is there that is beyond the detectors depth. Also wonder how many coins and rings there would be if you could make the ground just disappear.

Wally has swung there a few times with me too and always gets a few silvers. There is heaps junk and BB's but it's worth persevering with.

That honey field of your's just keeps on giving, there seems to be no end to the coins sitting in the ground down there, keep at them and congrats on your 6K posts.
RE: the new 19" coil for the 7000, I'm beginning to wonder if it's a figment of MineLabs imagination, announced on their web site on April 11 and here we are in the first week of July ; still no announcement on the release date and pricing, makes you wonder what the hell is going on;waiting waiting waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way too much trash there for the 5k Colin, would be good if it had discrim.

Cheers Sinhof, yeah the silvers just keep coming. Detecting heaven, wish they were that gold colour though. Hopefully that 19" comes out soon, don't know why they're holding off releasing it, it must already be built.

Getting cabin fever, only been able to detect about a half hour over the last week due to rain and soaking wet ground, totally over the wet weather and winter...... Hope it doesn't rain for a whole year now.

Got out and continued on at the honey hole, the fields are starting to dry out a bit again finally. Scored a few bucks and several silvers. Couldn't get the 3 in a row Florin hunt though, oh well maybe next time. Got a rully choice New Zuland 2c coin though, must have been a pendant as it has a hole in it.
