Hit Nth Curl Curl and Sth Curl Curl beaches today (Curly to the locals ), was a bit dissapointed with finds but hey that's detecting, stopped in at my fav sportsfield on the way home and got 2 sterling thrips and a silver ring. Not a bad day at all in the end, put in a lot of hours though.

Hit Curly beach again today at low tide and there was omnly 1x$2 coin, I got absolutely nothing else, not even junk, must be the cleanest beach on the entire planet......

Then took off to another beach, wish I started there at low tide today, will be back first thing in the morning as I got quite a few pre decimals there, first time I've ever found pre dec coins at a surf beach. Got 2x penny's, 2 half penny's, 2 shillings, a King George V florin and 2 sixpence. Also got a small sterling silver ring, heaps of BB's and a few bucks.

Some of the silvers were almost sunbakers, really hoping for gold tomorrow, I had to leave quite a few targets as they were in the wave area and the tide was coming in, will get those targets tomorrow.

You bet mate, I'll be down there an hour before low tide, got a good feeling about this spot. Was another bloke there today detecting but he had an old XT 16000 and couldn't get near the water with it. Nice bloke too, we had a good chat, said he might join up here.

Hit the same beach again today right before low tide, was perfect conditions, I got right in amongst all the rounded stones which were all grouped together and was specifically after gold but didn't get any which surprises me as I was right in where all the heavies had collected as you'll see from my pics. Got quite a few silver coins which are all toasted, lot's of 20c coins and goldies, a couple of silver rings but no gold at all.

Anyway there is still quite a bit left of this beach to detect so will try to get there a couple more times this week, gotta be gold there somewhere. Thought I'd be onto gold as I was right in the cutlery zone, lol, that's where team Bogan always get their gold.

Cheers Rocket, I was going flat out too so I could make the most of the tide. It's weird that there is so much at this beach, it's like no one ever detects there, targets everywhere, way too many BB's though. Totally exhausted after it, was like a formula one grand prix detecting session.
