I've dug up a lot of WW II 16 pounder Akak Bomb fragments and 303 Rounds, Those bomb bit ring like A Bell,

Some more stuff from the last few days swinging.

Saturday in the school across the road from my place which I've done before.

Sunday at a beach carpark I've done before. Tried the beach but forgot my headphones, doh!

Today at the park I've been detecting for a few weeks, there are still a few areas I haven't done and this was one. Had to use the galvanic cleaning method on these silver coins they were so dirty, doing this method always leaves a strange pink colour on the coins where the oxide is but they were so dirty nothing else was going to get the crud off except electrolysis. Starting to get onto the silvers at this park, the CTX is awesome on them. Got 4 pennies, 6 half pennies, 2 florins a sixpence and $34.55 in moderns plus about 20 BB's which are starting to annoy the hell out of me.......

Thanks, Aldi is pretty good mate but the CTX is superb, now I've just got to translate this luck/skill to the goldfields next time I'm out there. Looking forward to it that's for sure.
