If y'all want paydirt I can get you some cons from my gravel yard. Plenty of gold in it, I Just didn't want to start a business outta it.

Was hoping just another week to go, now in lockdown till at least 26th October (another 6 weeks), getting withdrawal symptoms and being an old man my grumpiness is beginning to show through.

Can you PM me details (if still avail.) .... might help retain some sanity in the household.

Cheers mate,
Tom

Morning everyone.

Mine arrived last Friday - thank you Patrick :Y:
From one Victorian address to another Victorian address good old Aus Post sent them via Sydney. I do feel sorry for the postal workers at the moment, it would be the busiest any of them have ever seen it.

First I dry panned half a bag just for fun. Got absolutely nothing. Which, based on the final result, means I know nothing about dry panning!

I then ran the whole lot slowly through a home made sluice that I made about 3 years ago and have never used. Was assuming that it would not be the best but worked brilliantly to my surprise.

Leaving the sluice for a while I then panned off everything that made it over the sluice and into a bucket. The results in the pan were better than hoped - nothing in there!

Then cleaned off the sluice mats and panned that off. Nice.

Thanks again Patrick for sending. An enjoyable half hour spent and just a bit more gold value than the cost - awesome.

The quarry where this is - I assume they are processing this material?
