I don't buy Silver in it's natural form, always as ingots, bars, coins or scrap jewellery.

My brother in law works in a servo and a guy bought $38 worth of fuel with round 50c coins. BIL then bought the coins off the till

I sold warheads candy to guy when in high school I got 1000 for ten bucks then sold him 5 for 50 cents he paid with 1966 50 cent coins I got 20 that way and I bought heaps from garage sale the best place to mine silver

I bought a couple of small nuggets a few years ago out of the Golden Triangle. That was because I had never seen any just out of the ground, and could then practise with them, so am pleased to have them in the collection.

I often look at the nuggets for sale and go by the current gold price, a while ago, US$1420 x 1.10 = AU$1562, then divide by 31 for approx. 31g in a troy oz, = $50.38, so say I am buying 3G = $151.16 as a rough guide.

There's 20 small nuggets for sale on EBay currently, 2.76g, for $172.50 so it gives me a rough idea and it's usually a bit higher anyway.

I like to see the seller has good feedback and is 99-100% positive. Must rememberto buy some more bits while the price is so low .Have also bought silver and gold from the Perth Mint.
