I still haven't worked how to get closer than that silver :/ I find the brown background allows better focusing being non reflective
I'll try a different setting next time and see if I can get close ups

Photography B5 (young fellas phone)
Sit it on a glass for non shakey still shot while you zoom in to the required size.

move it around bacause you don't want to see the glass at all.

you just want a good clear shot of the object.(so you have to zoom a little at this stage)

you can also zoom in on special features such as markings.(full zoom for this if needed)

don't forget the reverse side, as it can often add to the understanding a bit.

such as this, showing that it is actually a pencil sharpener.

hope this helps a little.
