Was working in Sydney today
At lunch time i thought i would have a quick hunt at the closest park...
As i turned the corner to the park, right in front of me , in the middle of the park , i spot a guy out swinging
I wasnt expecting that
We chatted for a bit then went in opposite directions( gday Jonothan )

The ring is pretty corroded( probably a junker)
Have put it in vinegar/salt bath to clean

When i went to put the ring in, i found this ( forgot i put it in there  )
Found last weekend

I think it must be a 'blank' ... The end is crimped
Also looks to be unfired
I cant really make out what is stamped in base

correct on both counts Sandta, unfired blank. Can't make out the markings on the base of the shell. It's rimmed so I'd be guessing 303 just because it's common.

Ok , so i took the Ace250 out for a walk this morning

Wooooaaahhh!!! Whatva haul of silvers mate!!!

Gotta hate hitting targets  I make sure I never put the spade in 'ontop' of the target but off to its side. From what I know shouldn't be too difficult with the ace pinpointer..but yeah..I know it doesn't work all the time :p
