Any whispers

Good morning all,

I have it from a very good source that 2 nuggets were just found recently in Victoria, in a coastal region.

Apparently the nuggets are in excess of $750,000
Has anyone else heard this whisper.

I do know the region and it surprised me a fair bit of their find. I also seen one of the nuggets in a photo which might I ad covered the hand holding it.....a big nugget indeed.

I have always been told its pretty standard practice to lie about the region, No one wants to start a rush anywhere near their new sweet spot. But if you have heard it first hand and its reliable that would be cool. Cheers Balx

I agree with you, hence why I never said the region it was supposedly found. I do though have no reason to doubt the person who told me this info and show me the photo.

As far as I'm aware though the area has produced gold in the past but it's mostly alluvial.

It's still very exciting, I must say.

It sure is, I watched a post beagle boy posted yesterday and it had a bit about a whole new gold find in Northern Ireland, If that joint has been mined as long as it has and they are still finding new fields I imagine there are hundreds in Australia still to be found. I was also reading how my local Field got covered by Lava flows millions of years ago and you can mine in and under them for the old wash. So that adds another whole level of fields. Great share Balx.

A close friend of mine pulled a 24.2oz piece some years back, i got to hold it touch it and every thing else you could think of, i know the exact spot it came from, her official statement when asked of its recovery location was, at least 80-100km away via the crow flies........cant blame her either

That huge chunk of quartz with 14KG of gold ,was found near Orange

looks like real triangle dirt on that speci, moss gives a hint as to the climate!!!
