Uuuuuuh, back on the aldi while the CTX is on the fritz........ :( , spose it's not all bad, the aldi still does the job and I can still detect. :) The Penny is a 1942.

Last hunt of the year, didn't think I'd be using the aldi, oh well, it's still working well.

Got a weird target today, looks like a modern Penny from Brittain in a pendant type thing, may have been a keyring. Anyway, almost thought it was a proof gold sov at first until I had a closer look, was an interesting find.

Got a Penny too.

Good to see the Aldi still paying for itself, can't complain with those results. What was the silver coin, looks like an unusual design? :)
 
$20+ :eek: Heatho and the pommy bit of brilliance too,..and at least you got 1 PD and a ring,... beat me, hands down mate ! :lol:

Cheers mate, I have flogged that little ditch at that park, (you know the one at the bottom of the hill near my place), with 3 detectors including the CTX and I get this with the Aldi lol, hardly any metal targets left there now at all. :) It was close to the pipe that runs through underground and couldn't get the CTX close enough to the pipe, the aldi was perfect for the task of detecting it.
