I really hope she will be fine Phill,

Wishing both of you all the best.

Doug and Familly.

Too much gold to get to lay down too long.
Braggs apple cider vinegar can effect blood pressure one way.... and taken with garlic it goes the other way. I'm unsure which does what atm though (books away in boxes etc).
good thoughts to ya's from here. :flowers:

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words.

She's back. We just rolled in from the long run back from Meekatharra and she's resting. She had a chest x-ray and the doc reckons it's muscular strain and a detached rib but defiantly not cardiac. He can't explain the neck, scapula or severe jaw pain (sounds like I gave her a beating). You have to wonder whether they got it right so I'll be watching her closely. Doc says that she must have lifted something very heavy but she can't remember doing that however he said that she did the right thing to call the ambulance. He said it's the ones that have chest pain and don't call that they never get to see because by the time somebody calls it's too late.

Doc said that the rib should work its way back and reattach in a few weeks.

All the best wishes for Mrs M Phil, does she want some more puzzles? Have a few, plus a beauty, Ken Duncan Panorama of the Barrier reef, heaps of sky and sea, recon that'll keep her out of mischief for a while.

HaHa, you think she needs to be punished? This last one was a birthday gift from a friend, well she used to be a friend anyway

It seems like the ones with the extra lip on the top go down the bottom, but why?
Gary, my friend dryblowing next door says to place them at the top. If we expect to top few riffles to catch most of the gold then this makes sense to me.

MB,
If you were me I'd put the extra lip at the bottom.
As the material drops onto the riffle box the air pumps the top side of the cloth causing the material to agitate allowing fine gold to settle against the bottom of the riffle. The waste material flows over the top of the single riffles until it reaches the double riffles. Needless to say the material still agitates but not as much as the top.
More material per riffle collects here.
Any gold that escapes over the top couple of walls (fairly unlikely if machine is set up correctly) will be collected here.

When you first trial your machine be sure to separate the material from each riffle and pan/sluice it individually. This way you will soon discover if any gold is getting down past the first few riffles. When it is set up and running to perfection obviously you can disregard this time consuming test.

All this of course after you have settled SWMBO comfortably back at home. :D

Its great news Mrs M is back home, and they dont think it was cardiac related.
Would have been a scare for both of you.
Could she have hurt herself doing the front fence, bending over and the like?
Wishing her a quick recovery. :flowers:

I guess the cause doesn't matter much now. Sometimes you do things on impulse and don't even realise. One thing is for sure, we've let our level of fitness drop off since the end of prospecting season. It happens every year to some extent but more so since living in Cue where the daytime temperatures are too uncomfortable to be out there getting the normal level of exercise. The best time to go walking is morning and evening but Mrs M is not a morning person in fact she celebrates the few times she's seen a sunrise, and then the mossies come out at that time of the evening and as long as she's with me they don't bite

Hello everyone, Sandra Survivor here. Many thanks for all your lovely well wishes and kind thoughts :inlove: . Hope to meet you all one day. I should get ill more often, lol. Nah, not true and wouldn't wish the pain and fright on anyone. It's been quite harrowing and the pain was terrifying when you started to think what it might be in the middle of the night. After being rushed by ambulance with a suspected cardiac issue we arrived in Meeka after midnight and I then waited an hour for the doctor. Lucky it wasn't an emergency!! I didnt get a room until 1:45am. They told me to get some rest but kept waking me every 5 mins to check on me?! What a shocking night in more ways than one. Anyway, the upshot is I am basically ok :Y: despite the fact they couldn't spell B-O-X correctly.

Odd looking X-ray.... my lungs are above my clavicles into my neck. No wonder I had neck and jaw pain, lol. They also forgot to take two of the ECG sticky things off which you can see in the X-ray. Hmmmm.

The pain had come on suddenly. It wasn't the chocolate, Phil, so don't be afraid to give me more, lol. :) Turned out it was just severe muscular strain (dont know how that happened) and a dislodged rib, possibly two. Phil just brought me home. We decided to stop at a place to look for relics to make the 115km each way drive worthwhile and I lasted 20 mins before deciding I was too sick to bother. I was disappointed but it was definitely a sign I wasn't up to it. I still feel terrible but drugs have eased the pain a little bit. Every time I breathe in I can feel the ribs rubbing against each other and my insides feel like they are crackling. I can actually hear a gurgling sound. Just glad it wasnt cardiac. A bit of a wake up call for both us to get fitter, though. :awful:

Now I have to take it easy for awhile..... mmmmmm. No better way to do that than with a challenging jigsaw. I do love my puzzles, crosswords included. So.... Dihusky. It sounds like I do need some severe punishing and torture so I would really appreciate the puzzles you have if you want to part with them. At least the Barrier Reef one if you want to keep the rest. It sounds interesting and very different to what I have already. It seems I have a few hours to kill, :argh: . Happy to pay postage as well.

Thankyou again to everyone for your concern and care. I really appreciate it. Cheers. :D

PS: Hey davent.... Taz is innocent!! O:) Poor little devil. :inlove: He loves me..... and all of you, too. :perfect:
