Jaros, I don't like my posts being called odd.... however 190? that's a lot of time considering how long it takes me to make up a story. I'll have to correct my time management or this thing will never come to a end

Just noticed you wear those Chinese safety boots Moneybox , green is a Larey colour for a bloke :D

These boots have served me well. We were away on a three month stint in the Pilbara when my old thongs gave up. When we visited Port Hedland to do a grocery top-up I walked down the back of Woolworths and spotted a bin full of this sturdy green footwear for $5 and for that I got two, a left and a right

I think they would be easily 4 years old and although very thin on the bottom they've never missed a step.

We're starting to put the dryblower parts back together. Hopefully it won't need to come apart again.

I must have had a brain-fade the day I bought the paint. I only bought a 4L when I need about 12L to finish the job.

We can't get hold of more paint at the moment so some of the parts will have to be repainted in situ.

I used the excavator to dismantle the job because it lifts higher than the forklift but I have better control over the load with the forklift.

Having it built in modules makes assembly very easy.

Each level is mounted on rubber blocks to absorb the vibration. Hopefully classifier and bin will vibrate assisting in the flow of the dirt without shaking the frame to pieces.

The next big bit to go on is the classifier grizzly. I tried to carry it out from under the covered area but it was wider than the gap.

I had to turn it on edge and drag it out into the open so that it could be turned upright.

It's tough enough to drag across the ground without hurting it.

I have another pot of paint that's not quite the right colour but it'll do for the bits where it's going to wear off anyway.

The inside of the classifier will get a lick of paint just to make it look new.

Both conveyor frames still need to be painted but the colour might be a bit different :)

Awesome mate, looking great! I better get a few more ltr's of paint too! hahaha

The dangerous good shipping kills the paint so I'll just go with what I can find in the shed. It's not the best paint and the colour is off but at least it'll go out there looking better than bare metal.

I ran into trouble today. I spun it up for the first time but the Poly-V-Belt refuses to stay in the drive pulley. The pulleys are nicely aligned but perhaps my tensioner pulley is leading it astray. I can adjust it all sorts of angles but the belt still jumps to one side or the other. All I have to do is hold my fingers gently against each side of the belt while its running and it stays in place so now I'm making up a channel guide from HDPE plastic. It's just strange the way it rides up one side of the drive pulley or the other.

Morning Moneybox,

There should be either one or two pulleys with shoulders on them to keep it
aligned.

A flat belt will track straight but a ribbed won't.

I expected it to sit nicely in those six grooves.

I've made up this little guide lined with HDPE and I will place that strategically in place before the return to the drive pulley.

It's the only pulley that seems to be a problem although it's the only one with load on it.

No Peter I haven't laser aligned the pulleys but they have a nice flat that I've used the straight-edge on. If they are misaligned then it's minimal and I've seen these belts working on some pretty poor alignments.

Love the bellows mechanism...work of art mate.

Keep in mind I don't run bellows...no air running out the bottom flaps...is that ok?
Are you running a remote air intake for the motor?

Well done...won't be long now.

That looks incredible. No matter what the field I am always in awe of quality tradespeople. Hairdressers to construction, people who are good in their field make what they achieve into a work of art. Well done to you and mrs MB. I look forward to working videos. Youll be on goldhunters next. Parker might even want one. :D :Y: :goldnugget: :goldnugget: :goldnugget: I hope theres plenty of this for you in the future. Cheers Rick
