2014 SDC nugget finds and Walbanker gold.

Thanks to all the members, past and present that have helped me to learn about gold, the how and where. Thanks to Prospecting Australia and particularly to Nugget who started this great forum.

Found over 3 days.

Have gathered 8.1 gms of alluvial as well over the last 8 months thanks particularly to Wal for his highbanker ideas.

2.7gms of baby gold. This gold does not come cheap.

New 4wd to gain access to gold. $28500.00
New SDC $4000
Numerous camping items.
Highbanker and pumps, over $1000.
Diesel for a return trip $160 each time.

New comers its not as easy as just go out and get some gold. Every day I am out on the hunt I reach my physical limits to near exhaustion to get a few grams in the highbanker or 10 hours searching for 1 tiny piece of gold worth $15. But I love it and hope to improve my knowledge in 2015.

All worth it!

Some great looking gold there mate. Hope the Gold Gods shine favorably down on you in 2015......living the dream can cost you, but I'd rather be out in the bush with 50c than in the city rat race with $50.

Hey Buzz,

Took me about 10 outings to get that first piece of gold. It holds true that the first piece is the hardest to find.

Just now I am starting to understand the SDC.

Goldtarget,

Shots were from Nundle, Windeyer, Torrington, Hargraves, Sofala and Kookabookra fossicking area highbanking. Been to Hill End, Gulgong and Barmedman with no success as well.
