I don't know much about him. He was a chemist in the sugar mill in Gordonvale Qld. The stones look amazing in the flesh. The yellow ones and pale blues are beautiful. I know how hard it is to photograph them now. There always seems to be a spot that is too bright and kills the shot.. I have put my hand up for the collection if the rest of the family doesn't want them. MIL has earmarked them for me.
