Cheers mate yep the 11" elite. Was able to run full gain today was picking up lead shot at a good 12-15cm in hardpack i love it. Completely unusable around volcanic rock though.

Wish it was, nahh the good wife wanted a new raised garden bed, she is very happy now and I am aloud to go prospecting next weekend. I will be up in Dunoly on the weekend providing I can walk again

Had 2hrs free yesterday so hit a spot I have been researching in the Dunolly area, was very happy no sign of detector holes and managed to pull almost 2 grams from the spot. Will be going back as I see a lot more potential as I hardly scratched the surface

Actually G0lddigg@, about 30m away is a small waterhole so I am taking the kids up with the sluice to process so of the ore, should be interesting.

Hey Dig'n-it, I normally swing the SDC for the small stuff, however lately I have been using my 4500 and the NF 12x7 which I love makes a great combo on the small stuff.

Thanks Tryhard. It certainly proves to be a great combo. I run the 4500 too and was up Dunolly way on the weekend as well. Only managed to find a 0.25g with a 8" Commander at Moliagul. However, I was mainly searching virgin ground with a 15x12 Commander. Had images of finding something big! Cheers

All the gold I found was loose so no crushing to do [It was from all old mullock heaps, so I guess I will just run it straight thru the sluice, I'm still learning so I guess I am sort of on the right path. Cheers.

went out to Amherst, yesterday and Monday for about 2 hours each time. Found these four little tackers, largest .26g and smallest .11g with the GPX 4500 re-issue and 11" Commander coil. It's a nice machine to use.
