It has a good mix of gold and white, reverse side is a bit thinner but gives a nice thud when dropped in your hand. Specimen came in at 1.45oz, thinking will be just shy of an ounce of gold - a very happy day.

What i found for a few hours today at Ararat.
I've figured out the rat bit. The little bit of forest you get to detect in is so ratty, it's nearly impossible in a few spots I tried to get through let alone swing a detector.
I also have a great new look on the triton. So many pin stripes it looks like a racing car.

Stopped at Beaufort on the way back today.
Never been there before to detect so I had a shot in a few places.
The speccie was nearly a non event as it screamed and I walked away thinking it was rubbish but something made me decide to go back and check it.

Cleaned up the speccie i found at Beaufort yesterday.
Had a real good look around for more of its family but they were nowhere to be found.
