Wonderful shots RS!

We used to do the same type of macro work by attaching the old laser lens from a broken DVD player to the camera on the iPhone. Good to know they sell something more user friendly to get that result now.

Gotta love those gold crystals! :D
Cheers,
Shauno.

Looks like a Macro Lens is on my shopping list now , great pics and some of the nicest looking yellow I have seen posted mate

Cheers :D

Worth every cent, even at $25

Amazing photos RS, you had better get up to hill end and re-supply the photo stock

Around the 20th next month for about 4 nights. I will go over there for one full day raking!

Nice haul with the 705 in another topic!

I got out for a couple hours detecting today, before my flu shot appointment. Went to an old spot and could not believe the 7000 was picking up targets that somehow I missed with the 4500. To be fair the clay in the spot did cause a lot of groaning groundnoise with the 4500. But the 7000 was mostly quiet. 15.3 grams in 2 hours, I am a happy camper....and can't wait to spend a few long days there in a couple of weeks. (I have handed in my resignation and will finish work then) :)
cheers RDD

Nice work. Prickly/rough and ironstone bits seems to be the flavour the Zed likes, and also the bigger lumpy ones which are starting to show up.
Yes Nenad the 7000 does seem to see specimens and flakey gold with ironstone etc that my 4500 missed. This combined with the 7000's ability to find small deep nuggets is boosting my tallies. Bigger nuggets at big depths have not happened yet however I have had the crowbar out a number of times to dig up iron trash at insane depths so I am confident bigger slugs at depth will come
Cheers RDD

Good to see some success coming your way RDD, it is a great start to your new career to be producing a solid income prior to starting the job.

I was at miners den today handling the 7000; that is one big coil on the end of the stick. I can imagine you will need a bloody big hole if you want to get the coil closer to an iffy signal. How does it go at pinpointing your target's centre?

I got back to the car and the Mrs asked 'How much does it cost?' I must admit I was unable to man-up, so just told her '*****-loads'.

I did walk away with the brochure and the words 'one day' floating around in my head. ;)
