There was lots of lead shot. Dug at least 30 - 40.

Same deal for me yesterday. Dug a fair bit of trash and only got 6 tiddlers. Any day you get any yellow is a good day I figure. Good work fellas, nice finds!
 
Good work Coota ....... WA seems to be the place for finding quantity of larger nuggets, that is compared to Vic GT.
I just drool over all the reports coming in from WA, and can't wait to get over their for a detecting trip. :p
 
It looks like tin plated in gold dam it. Strange looking but cool. Good going mate ;)
 
Nah dam it. The top one's just a bit of gold plated pliocene fish scale - about 4m years old. Boring as all bat **** - must have a hundred myself :lol: The other 4 look great though :) Knew you'd post some nice pieces to brighten our day!
 
Come on guys - post your weekend gold pics soon. I'm laid up here waiting with a "bottle in front of me", but if you don't post soon I'll need a "frontal lobotomy".
