Thats a nice gold Joe. I cought up with XIV this afternoon and had a high banker session for couple of hours. We only found little bit but good excercise. :D

Cheers Beagleboy :) HBs do take time to tune and learn - I have few set ups but the gold hog UR and Scrubber is like The ATX turn it on and go.

Great bit of gold there Joe and to have Tuena all to yourself doesn't happen often mate. That spot looks like it deserves some serious attention. Good luck on the next run out there.

Cheers Wal.

Thanks Wall, it's marked in my head. I don't normally get clunkers like that. One massive boulder just worked around it a little as it was a killer hot day today.

Nice gold there Joe,well done, would be happy with that

Yes, very happy mate, got about a cup full of shot gun pellets,sinkers,223 and some unrecognisable lead shots so far.(never seen such a concentration of lead)

Wow Nice Gold Joe :) where's the drooling sign please :D Gold fever way up the scale, many thanks for the pic Joe ;)

Thats some nice looking pieces Joe. Seems your research paid off nicely.
Ya gotta love Tuena. When she's in a good mood, she's a generous lady.
Good luck with the rest of it.
Cheers
Chris

Hi joe, did you use a highbanker?
How much gravel did you go through?
Impressive sizes in there!
Reeko

Hi Reeko, yes mate used HB, but worked with green clay. After sampling some spots I've seen gold on top of the clay so decided to break it up with hands in the hopper. I would estimate about 6-7 buckets. Not much went through the HB as the clay took me for ever to break up. Yes size varies from 0.34 down.

Well did get out today after watching gold rush last night :) Tuena had no prospectors, no HBs running anywhere - like a ghost town.

Couple of shots from today's effort ( dry gully of black cat creek)

bless you my son

:D

looking at those is nicer than drinking warm coffee liquers around a campfire at night in winter

looking at those is nicer than a face full of B***bs

looking at those is nicer than drinking a gallon of condensed milk straight from the can

looking at those is nicer than eating a kilo of black forest cake with 3 inches of whipped cream on top

looking at those is nicer than...well almost anything really

:p

glad to see you had such a nice day mate :D

What's green clay? If you don't mind me asking?

So you used a small scale puddler then put it through the Highbanker?

That would also work at Wee Jasper.

Did you have to transport the clay far to the creek for the HB?
