It does, it fits perfectly. That is what I have and stuff falls within the spokes and then gets under the spokes between the skid plate. I think I understand your idea of sealing the gaps. Are you thinking silicone or no-more-gaps or something like that? Actually, the brother-in-law has some black shoe repair stuff which sticks well but is a bit flexible and probably easy enough to remove when the skid plate needs replacing. I might give that a try, thanks for the suggestion
Yes exactly the idea. I used a neutral silicone around the top inside gaps and it made a long lasting seal as there is no abrasion there. Can't say whether there would be any difficulty removing the silicone stuck skid plate as I never got around to taking it off before I sold it with my previous 5000.It does, it fits perfectly. I've got a 12" and a 15" solid Evo though and love them for both their metal detecting attributes but also their 'everything just slides' off attributes.
