Hopefully we'll catch up. We don't plan too closely when away because itineraries can be stressful to follow. I have a few must do's. I have to pick Mrs M up at the airport on 6th, I have a birthday party to go to at Cape Palmerston on 10th and I'm going to look at and most likely pick up the aeroplane from Laidley in my spare time. If I'm bringing it home then I either buy a trailer or build one. I've packed a welder, grinder, drill, number plate and tail lights along with some wiring and odds and ends.
Finnish packing to go to Georgetown tomorrow, I was supposed to go last Monday but had an intermittent error popping up on the caravan, brake controller that kept coming up last trip. Anyhow after finding a few little things that fixed the problem every time only for it to come back again. Even with the car parked on the street with the van hooked up brakes not being used. This was driving me nuts until eventually many hours later traced it back to the brake controller itself. Had better find some gold haha.

I'm sitting on the side of the road waiting for some arrogant pain in the neck to answer his add to sell a trailer. The trailer is listed on Gumtree with no contact number but states that it is in Darra.
I first messaged Eduardo two times on the 4th of August then again on the 5th, each time asking for an address to view the trailer and also a phone number.
He eventually responded on the 5th "Hi Phil, Sorry I have just see your message. You could see the trailer tomorrow".
Again I asked for his address and phone number twice, once at 4:13pm and again at 9:04pm. I messaged him again at 8:45am this morning. He came back to me at 9:21am "Hi Phil, I can give you the address details if you would like to view the trailer - when would you like to come. It's at Darra Q 4076.
I messaged him back "Yes but Darra is a big place, I need an address please and I will come now. I'm waiting in Laidley".
Then I drove to Darra and messaged him again "I'm in Darra but I have no address to go to and no phone number to call".
Then I messaged him again "Edwardo, Where are you?"
I've had morning tea and soon it'll be lunchtime and still no address for Eduardo Sanchez in Darra.

There are some special ones around though. Recently drove near 2hrs to look at a car on the day the seller said he was available. Messaged the bloke when I got there & he said sorry I'm at work
I agree with Matt - this smells like a scammer.
Check his other items for sale (are they in Darra?) & past sales (in Darra?; similar gear or unusual range of items?) on Gumtree.
The account may also have been genuine previously but has been hijacked by a scammer. Is the trailer unusually cheap?

That's why I think you're having such a frustrating time. If it's a scam, they only want buyers who can't come and get it. They 'kindly' offer to arrange freight but obviously need payment first and then it's goodbye to the buyer's $$$.
What state is that rego in? You can search Aussie rego numbers to check ownership. I can't recall the website off-hand, but it's free and Google will know it.

The 'seller's' history shows that he sold the trailer in Alexandria, Sydney back in September last year, but that may only mean that he tried to sell it there, so doesn't necessarily show fraud.

Might not be a scam Phil but it's a pretty common lure into one - no phone number/address hoping to get someone that's not close by. Then ask for money for a deposit (or freight etc. as Grubstake says).
Hopefully it works out but a few red flags.
Right now I am thinking how much Australia owes Gina for her continued support in so many fields.Thank You.

I’m sitting outside the office at Cape Palmerston Holiday Park freezing my butt off while trying out Starlink. I’m logged into the park’s Starlink and it’s the best internet connection I’ve had in weeks.
I think I need a Starlink Mini. Perhaps I need it quickly before Mrs M finds out how badly I need it

Have tried this before on chainsaw bars to get extra life out of a stretched chain with no success ever.
After watching Forged in Fire by heating a tang to be able to drill holes for a handle fixture in hardened steel.
Heated the bar end cherry red & let naturally cooled it drilled out easy.
Now have extended time use on a stretched chain.
CN product only gave a 20mm adjustment now i have 35mm.
Remember to remove batteries prior operations on these creatures as they will show no mercy on fingers or flesh.

We’re parked at a free campground near Springsure in Queensland.
It was quite a surprise when Mrs M read “the cliff face is floodlit at night” and swung the door open.
