but tried to buy 1 item ($10.00) that is all i needed and there was no way i could find a way to pay for it unless i spent $50.00

the site kept blocking payment with a message that said minimum $50.00 spend for free postage
so the grumpy side of me said shove your site where the sun don't shine and have never been back on it

i don't spend a lot of money on line except one purchase twice a year with a blacksmith supplier as i can not buy the items needed local most of the time

I had the same issue when I wanted to make My first purchase. I googled how to get free shipping from Temu and it was suggested I go into their chat mode and just ask for free shipping on the item I was interested in. I did that once and it worked but now unless it is something that I would really want in a hurry just add to my cart until I reach the threshold spend for free delivery.

On Temu , You can usually find the same item offered with Free Shipping just takes time to find them or put the item in your cart and wait for a day or two and they might offer you free shipping.... In My case I get what I want and Mrs Wolf adds her things and Bingo, Free shipping... a word of caution, Don't buy their T-Shirts... The material they use is so hot, I hardly wear mine....

I bought the older one with a B serial number.now to learn all its settings

The wife of a friend called around to see us a week or so back. I asked her about how her husband Michael was going. It was just after his team Collingwood got thrashed by my team Hawthorn.
She said that he had been very quiet over the previous few days and appeared to be suffering from “sadness”.
Then I saw these bottles of old Collingwood premiership port appear for sale on Marketplace, so I bought them.
I intend to make a gift of them to him and while it may risk reminding him just how far Collingwood are falling away from the glory times, maybe drinking one will help cheer him up and cure him from "sadness".

I bought 2 of these and they arrived today. They are about the size of a mortein can and take up very little space when compared to a normal extinguisher. Mine will sit in the the car doors within easy reach

yep that's what i was thinking dave sitting there with the back massager buzzing along for a hour

I bought this 6 burner BBQ to replace my old one. Last one at Mitre10 & looked far nicer than the newer version. Also meant I did not have to put it together

The frontage on it looks like the one in the 4 burner pic.

All I need is a bit of decent BBQ weather & we will be stinking out the neighbours!

Today the Starlink Mini was released so I went looking for one. I had to get out a bit to find somewhere I could park so I dropped in to Hardly Normal at Campbeltown. They had four in today but all were sold. Next I tried JB HiFi and they said they had one in Narellan so I grabbed that one.



It was a nightmare to register and activate, it took two and a half hours out of my life. All it wanted to do was sell me another one and then register it.




Eventually I got it connected and by then I had the dish sitting on top of the bus roof. I didn't do any fancy facing it to the stars i was just straight up and this is the speed test.



I decided to drive of in search of a camping spot for the night so I put it on the dash looking out the windscreen as in the top photo. This is a speed test of it inside looking out once again not directed to any spot in particular. Not too bad.... but what a pain to setup the first time.
