Snuck out to Reedy Creek for a couple of hours to check the water levels and put some gravels down the river sluice.
Took the young bloke out for his first Highbanking trip, we found some gold and he absolutely loved it!
Took the Rookie Miner out for his first glimpse of the Eldorado Gold Dredge. Absolutely amazing piece of engineering for its time!
When your son challenges you to a highbanking competition, you can't say no...

I had 2 hours to sluice more then half a gram of gold...how did I do?
Set myself a task of finding enough spendies in 30 minutes to get a cup of coffee.

Took the Dream Mat river sluice to a place ive always wanted to swing a pan at. The setting was absolutely magical !!
Brand new site for me producing the goods with 12 pre decimals popping up including 9 in one hole.
Took The Rookie Miner out for a bit exploring and gold panning at a local creek. Showed him how to hand dredge and he was away!
Great to spend time out in the bush getting reconnected with nature.
