It's getting near the silly season so why not go ahead and be silly 
Guess the weight of gold in the specimens to get the gold nugget!
The first pic is of the specimens. How big are they? How big is the sheet of paper - A4? A5? A3? How much gold is in them? Who knows
Some gold is visible, some of it is not. The specimens will be crushed at some stage this week and weighed on a mates scales that read 00.000 grams. The person with the guess nearest to the total gold weight will win the single gold nugget below. I keep the gold in the specimens. Who gets the better deal? You do!! 'Cause I end up 2 grams lighter.
The guess must be in grams.
The guess must be in the form of 00.000 (for example 02.001 grams or 19.090 grams).
The mods can enter as they don't know any answers (even I don't know yet).
Comp closes Saturday 10th of December at 1200 hrs Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time.
In the event of multiple people guessing the same weight and winning, the winner will be the first guesser.
In the event of multiple guesses being the same amount above or below the actual weight, it will again be the first guesser who is deemed the winner.
They're my rules and my decision is final.
Considering I probably haven't thought this through properly and might have made an error somewhere, the rules are subject to me changing them at any time
I'll post the nugget at my cost to anywhere within Australia only.
If you're an international member you are still free to guess and if you win you can allocate an Australian member to receive the prize.
