Please refrain from commenting on every find.
FIND OF THE MONTH RULES:
The find can be any object (including gold nuggets and gemstones found in one hunt, TOKENS, or coin spills of 3 or more) but MUST NOT be a single identifiable Coin.
The item entered must be detected AND dug by the member entering it.
The item must have been found after joining the forum.
The item must be found in Australia.
You must have also posted a picture of the find in the appropriate section to be eligible to enter a monthly award. ( Members finds, Gold detecting show and tell or wherever you normally post you finds.)
The find submitted must be found in the month the competition is active. (Items found on the last day of the month can be entered in the following month's comp)
The post with the DATE item found, must be accompanied by a picture of the find and a short description.
The item entered must be clearly identified. Where possible, the only item in the picture should be the one that is being entered.
Find of the Month will be decided by member votes using an online polling system.
Maximum 2 entries per member
All monthly winners will be entered into the Find of the year competition and a small prize will be up for grabs.
Please refrain from commenting on every find as this will just make it difficult to keep track of the entries. Thanks.
IF YOU HAVE NOT FOLLOWED ALL OF THE ABOVE WITH YOUR ENTRY, IT WILL BE REMOVED. You will now be sent a PM asking you to read the rules before re-entering. This is just so we don't need to chase dates, wait for PM replies, and modify posts.

Adolph Otto Kopp 9ct gold ring, found on the 6th April 2016. A.O. Kopp was a jeweller around the time of the Western Australian gold rush, late 1800's and early 1900's.

Hopefully, you just never know though, got some very strong competition with all the other detectorists here including you and Rocket, the month is only young. :D

Crap, There is some stiff competition in here now.
People, These finds coming to light are freaking awesome. 8) 8)

Mrs M has picked this as our best find this month. This old oil stone was found with the GPX4500 (well the old rusty file set the detector off) SE of Southern Cross on 25th April 2016.

It doesn't look old until you look at the condition of the file that was laying next to it

Just imagine the oldie using that 150 odd years ago <... the stone would last until it weathered out of existence, 1 000 000 AD or more ,... someone will find it one day, with a pile of old bottles(and maybe a nugget or two). ;) 8)
That's Historic. :D
