Christmas 2014 Gold Pickers Guess the weight and keep the gold comp

Alright! a package arrived today with a very welcome donation from long time member "DWT" Thank you sir and thank you Jaros for posting it down to Ballarat for the official weight in.

I had a little trouble getting security on such short notice to collect these Gold nuggets but luckily i was able to secure the services of an off duty police officer and hes dog to accompany me home.


All fun aside lets get down to business

How to play

Guess the correct weight of the Gold in photos below and it's yours to keep.

Details

In the event of two or more members guessing the correct weight, the member who posted first will win. The second member will receive a random special prize provided by another charitable fellow and long standing member GoldTarget. oohhh what could it be.........

Should no one guess the exact weight, the person who is closest wins the prize, second winning second prize and so on.

A photo will be posted at the end of the competition displaying the Gold on digital scales.

Eligibility

• You must have a post count of 10 or more before submitting your guess, otherwise your guess is void.[/*]

Competition closes Saturday 20th December 2014 @ 8PM, winner announced as soon as we can get through the submissions hopefully Saturday night.

Looks like the random pattern in the back ground similar to the vynl covering on an old book cover??? HHMMMM.....,, .54 grams is my shot.. :|

Well, based on the average sized stone, current wind speed and direction x the number of nuggets, my guess is .97grams :lol:

P.S. I'll donate a little something for the next comp

since Nugget done all the right calculations I'll guess 0.95 grams
