So how's the back today :/ I know how you feel, have thrown mine out quite a few times, wish I told my boss when I did though
Crushed my upper spine down at Perisher over one of the big jumps about 6 years ago  It's taken a long time to learn to deal with the pain
Doc said they want to put an Atlantis plate in and fuse some sections, couldn't guarantee it would fix the pins and needles and pain so told them to FO
Was even booked on the waiting list  , best thing I find is to always stay mobile :/
He reckoned I couldn't make it worse    snow's coming soon and I refuse to lie down and die

Thats no good mate..ill stop windging about my pulled muscle in my back now...that sounds like alot of pain...I did race moto x in the 80s and crashed on the doubles.....couldnt walk for weeks docs did xray...said you will heal.....20yrs later still walking with a limp...found out i severed my Acl and Tcl ...and they just dissolved over the years :D :D  :rainbow:

Any back injury's is heavy Smokey, a couple of mechanics I know take weeks off over slipped discs regularly on compo, one of them goes and gets acupuncture and says it helps a lot, he advised me to give it a go, said to him the only dude that's allowed to stick needles in me is a Tattoo artist
I haven't even had a tetanus shot since I was 20 odd    and I play with rusty razorblades for fun
My neck is ok at the moment but snowboarding heavily thrashed terain thrashes my back leg, want to see some scary x-rays?
the day in particular one of my mates avoided getting on a bike ever since the day....all he had to do was to support my leg inside the boot while the other two mates lifted me on the back of a ute  I watched his eyes roll to the back of his brain as he almost passed out

  I just found where GF's been hiding things I've been looking for
Left foot, was planing to go to work til I woke up the next day  foot was too big to put a shoe on

About a year later same special jump, perposfully over shot it to hold a big trick longer  Right leg Before the op

There's another set from a year later I can't find with 3 obvious broken screws and 2 more possible broken screws
There sticking out now, my doc said all he can do is pull the screws, when it was found I went back to see him thinking I broke my right foot, it was bruised black through the boot
The broken screws were already healed over  Not sure what incident did it there was 3 possibilities :8

Right leg is always swollen but you should see it after a heavy day of snowboarding  :/ :( 8.( it's bigger than my thigh 8)
I don't go to hospital unless all else fails   It was a bit over a year after I thought I dislocated my shoulder but that was not to be :/
Costed a pretty penny to finally end up at the spinal specialist with a stack of MRI's
That's what fun can do if you always push hard
The metal detectors at the airport scream at me and cant swing the ATG too close to my legs   I'm a bit worried that a Minelab PI detector wont like me too much

Nasty break B5, total shocker....

I've ridden bikes since I was quite young, they were my only transport for many years and thankfully never had a major stack, have never broken a major bone either. I've ridden dirtbikes like a madman, had Harleys, when I ride these days (which has been a while) I borrow either one of my parents Buell's, 1200's with racing kits in them. :)

Now I can see you've been screwed over B5
:Y:  :Y:
  It rings in at a solid 46   is that a gold ring the doc lost in surgery
Some of my mates were racers SX and MX, I'm the low altitude pilot, FMX freerider   that was over 9 months in a cast then maybe 2 months and back on it
I think I need to think about getting the screws removed but don't want to spend another year in a cast  :/
Strapping a MX boot on is fine but the snowboard boot  is a killer :/ lucky it's toooooooo much fun
I'm only 40 though Smoky  I can only imagine what life will be in another 10, but you never know   many more bones to break
Sat in the back of a V8 Commodore for 4 and a half hours to get back to Sydney to get to hospital  my mates tried to use me to pick girls up at the twin servos on the way home    :N:
It didn't hurt to break it but the nurses pulling the boot off then the doc resetting it while I was waiting for the op to be done the next day  :N:
That's serious pain  Many worst than me though, one guy Brian went to Townsville SX, first practice session straight up went for the triples, no doubles first lap, straight for the triples  shattered his femur and ended up in a terminator halo for a loong time, he had to tighten his own screws every day  no :rainbow:  for him

Hit the penny paddock the sarvo for an hour and a half...trying to get rid of all the junk...picked up a half penny...a chain ...and another thripy... :Y:
