What a great hunt,might be time to take the top 8 inches off and see what's down really deep.

Quick swing the sarv and got a 1916 shilling thats really poor condition...but ill take it...and what i thought was a 6p...but turned out to be a 5c :lol: :Y:

Im pretty sure ive got everything down to 12 inches or so....the deeper stuff will have to wait till i get my new coil...Or i hire a backhoe to remove the top 12 inchs ] ....But the sand pit does look alot like this B5 :Y:

Hi Guys
Hit the local sporting field at 3am thismorning and was there over a hour an hadn't dug a target So i decided to head .......DOWNTOWN......to the local skate park....That place is full of rubbish and 20c pieces...Was there for a bit under 3hrs...

Only worked this side of the ramp.......And as they go up .....the coins fly outa their pockets and onto the ground......for me to detect...theres heeps more there but had to hide under the ramp a few times as the rain came over......I dug until i couldn't bend down anymore...Dam back gave out before my detecting urge was satisfied

Unfortunately there was only 2 of these..This is the results for the morning hunt...again minus the 200 energy drink bottle screw caps..they went straight in the bin..I wish those things didn't...id or sound like a gold coin

Yer mate i cant belive how many 20c pieces there are there...i know theres heeps more as i was walking back to the car with my stiff back..i had to have a swing on the other side of the ramp and theres quite a few still in the ground :Y:
