When I do a game, I just press the share button down the bottom, it then comes up copied to clipboard and I just hit paste on PA and it comes up like that.

Strange I do exactly the same and get the blank squares.

I checked further this morning, on Wordle hit the settings wheel (cog on right hand side) and click on dark theme, hey presto, black squares.
