Hi guys just tryn to find anyone from forum whom lives in or around gympie area . Everyone i meet around here comes from interstate or Brisbane mostly touristy day panners. Im content finding my own gold so your spots are safe just wanna have a chin wag.

Dude, (yobskin)

Mate you need to chill a little with the 'freaking' and sarcastic 'nice' and 'fine'
Lol.

You have been here for 10min and your post for 5min. Not everyone comes here everyday. There is plenty of visitors to Gympie area, but you just scared them off.

Relax mate. Lol

Cmon everyone, Yobi just wants some local friends to do the barbie thing and down some ale,.... and he wants them NOW !(sorry Yobskin) just jokin.

nothing ventured,...nothing gained is what they used to say in the old days,....maybe you need to announce a play date Yobskin, that way you can organise those far flung buddies that can afford the drive,.... you might end up with tents in your backyard that's all.

Hahaha its all good. Since i have made posts regarding deep creek there has been an increase in activity down there...
Red hill is covered in fresh diggings almost looks the same as 1898. So plenty ppl are able to read my posts online. If i google it my posts pop up. I used to be a tuna fisherman and we never told anyone where we got fish same as prospecting. So a BBQ n beers is the plan and if so tent city. Im 38 and spent most of my life on the ocean im covered in japanese tattoos like lamb 73 said i do scare them off infact i make alot of ppl uneasy in country towns . I cant help that ! im polite curtius always willing to give the shirt off my back. So happy hunting peace out . :D

G'day mate, I'm in Maryborough QLD I think we've chatted on here before, maybe. I'm trying to find time to get out for a dig, got a couple of mines lined up the biggest problem is water. There's another bloke in town who's always keen for a dig, his names Bill an American but we won't hold that against him. We've already been on a couple of wild digs in the area. I found another old mine two days ago, 5 minutes up the road from my work camp so I've got to find out who owns the property which I'll do when my boss gets here. How far are you willing to travel as I go out to Mt Perry and put a weekend in. I trying to catch up with work at the moment so I'll have to email you when I get time off. What suits you best weekend or week days?
:) Mick

Just guessing,..... Dean Lukin (haha).
