I use to build passenger aircraft and build bits for Fighter Aircraft and Concord.

My son is a pilot.
He had his first flight at 14, passed his pilot's licence test on his 17th birthday (got his driving licence the same week).
He joined the RAAF at 17 and has been there for 19 years, flew the C130J Super Hercs for some years and now is a Squadron Leader and Exec Officer with the C27J Spartans.
Great career, he has been to most countries including about five deployments to the Middle East.

Cant say Im a Pilot , But have had the controls for 5-10 minutes of a small twin engine .

become proficient in was how to recover from a stall spin.
Used to love stalling into a cloud and recovering out the bottom of it.
Would love to get an LSA STOL or amphibian aircraft but, Life gets in the road.

Pipers for me (single engine retractables), but haven't flown since having children - too expensive.
My instructor (back in 84) was a Californian named Paul Kazazi, so he was called "Kamikaze Kazazi". Loved canyon flying and teaching wing-overs.
Had a great flight in the Grand Canyon before that was banned. All the way down the Colorado, past London Bridge (lunch stop) to Mexico.
On getting my license transferred to Australia, my instructor kept telling me: We don't fly like that here sir.".
Now, I only fly the Mavic 2 Pro.
