i think i would have told them where to go also bush ,
plus i would have told them if the clown wants that to happen get off his arse and carry the bottle himself

i do refills at bundy hot gas (been with them for 30 years)
you carry the bottle about 15 yards from the car park to a rubber mat, drop it there with your name on it and the staff pick it up and bring it back full

i am 100% sure if a person with mobility issues, patricia would very quickly get staff to do the heavy lifting from the car and back for you

as i have a cash account with them for my mig gas ,oxcy and large bottles for the gas forge
as a account holder i get all 8.5kg bottles filled for $22.00 any day of the week (sometimes if patricia is in a good mood $20.00)

i think they do a saturday special for $24.00 for non account holders
i can not get the acetylene there as the company will not let them sell it
i own all my bottles so no rent

Has anyone gone to BCF for as gas bottle re-fill lately.
Today i was there and placed the 8.5 kg bottle on the weigh table at the outdoor fill station.
Walked into the shop to pay prior as usual.
The attendant there says that i have to bring the bottle inside so he can read the expiry date.
I said well why can`t you read it out side.
He says no i can`t there is no camera out there.
`i` said, ``what you expect everyone now to carry these bottles from way over in the car park and bring them into the shop.
`i` said , ``How ridiculous is that,`` ``there`s no common sense here is there.``
i then ask if he was the manager ``Yes`` he said.
Well i said this is a lot of BS you can go and get F*****.
And Yes there was an audience present.

These 8.5 kg bottles is gas weight the bottles are about 15kg empty stand alone.
There are many folk with leg & hip hindering issues and carry a lot less muscle than i.
The stupidity of these Company Managers and alike these days that enforce these endless BS Rules.
It`s not a good time of year to piss people off.

So Big Bad Bush...are you now band from gas bottle refilling at BCF, nursing a black eye and eating cold cornflakes rather than a BBQ'ed steak or, just embarrassed about your childish lack or control over your emotions, inability to understand reason and, an apparent sense of entitlement to treat others in an intimidating and disrespectful manner? Maybe use your words like a reasonable adult and ask the manager for a hand rather than behaving aggressively? "It's not a good time of year to piss people off", you say? The irony, your ignorance and evidently, your over inflated sense of entitlement displayed for all readers in your 'whinge' is astounding. You should have noticed by now, people aren't posting any support for your boastful story of bullying behaviour.

In the Managers case he needed to be told.
In your case i would not waste my breath.

From my experience, BCF follow very strict guidelines with all aspects of refilling LPG cylinders. eg:
- They won't do a refill during bad weather, in case of lightning.
- They will only do a 'while you wait' refill, so that the full bottle is immediately removed from their premises.
- They won't assist with loading the full bottle into a vehicle, with their website explicitly stating, "Bring a friend to help lift your gas bottle into your car. Our team are prohibited by legislation from loading filled gas bottles into customer vehicles."
