Where ?

Gday. Im from the sunshine coast and have been thinking about fossicking for a while. Now santa has given me a pan and detector Im nearly ready. I have been reading up about central and southern qld areas but nowhere sounds outstanding . I figure I might try the Warwick area first .Got my licence yesterday so Im real keen . Is it worth going in the school hols. Thanx for any help .

Hi mate. Its not to buisy there...real wet n muggy atm. Bugs everywhere...
My mate took his van to gympie stayed at the trailer park 2km away from fossicking area and the mary river runs along trailer park. He detected a 3gram nuggy in the paddock along park. He visited museum lernt heaps..... mines every where.

ok . Thanx for the help. I am going down to Warwick to have a quick look then might go to Gympie . My brother owns some land and creek near Pomona so will try that as well. Happy new year
